Despite its name, technically, it really is not a question of a village because it turns out that each little house bubble shape is actually a hotel room.
Tore Tore Village has two distinct areas: the “Märchen Zone”, which allows smoking and pets and “Fantastic Zone” for non-smokers.
The bubble-houses in these two areas seem to have a different aesthetic. Western or Japanese rooms are available for 2, 4 or 6 people.
One can also find a konbini which, we assume, also in the shape of a bubble. The question is whether it is held by a hobbit.
Obviously if you are looking for a huge result for your holiday in Wakayama, Tore Tore Village is probably not what you need, because the compromise for a stay on Tattooine is that the living spaces seem to be quite close.
But for all others who like to sleep in strange places, you’ll be pleased to know that Tore Tore Village is located just steps from one of the best tourist destinations in Wakayama Shirahama, a beach paradise white sand and Nanki-Shirahama Onsen, one of the three best spas in Japan.
